Laskennassa huomioidaan vähintään 3 palan yhtenäiset kokonaisuudet.\n- Suoritus\n  - Palapelin saa poistaa sitä suojaavasta pussista vasta kilpailun alettua. Palapelilaatikon ja sen sisältävän pussin avaaminen on osa suoritusta. Tähän saa käyttää ei-teräviä työkaluja. Mikäli laatikko on sinetöity teipeillä\, nämä on avattu etukäteen.\n  - Jos palapelilaatikko on kuitenkin sinetöity\, kilpailijan on ilmoitettava tuomarille nostamalla kätensä. Laatikon avaamiseen kulunut aika vähennetään suoritusajasta.\n  - Kasaamisen apuna ei saa käyttää muita kuin palapelilaatikosta löytyviä kuvia tai kaavioita. Palapelin valmistuttua\, tuomari varmistaa oikean kasauksen ja kirjaa kilpailijan ajan.\n  - Tuomarin kirjattua ajan\, kilpailija palauttaa aikakortin päätuomarille itse.\n  - Suorituksen päätyttyä kilpailijan on kohtuullisessa ajassa kerättävä tavaransa ja poistuttava kilpailualueelta.\n  - Jos palapeli ei ole valmis kilpailun päättyessä\, kilpailijan on kerättävä irralliset palat 10 palan pinoihin laskennan nopeuttamiseksi.\n\nRules\n- General\n  - There is no age limit for the competition.\n  - In the team competition\, one 1000-piece puzzle is assembled.\n  - The puzzle image is the same for everyone in the same round\, and it is revealed at the beginning of the competition.\n- Determining ranking in the competition\n  - The ranking of the competitors is determined based on the time spent assembling the puzzle.\n  - The assembly is finished when the competitor has announced that thay are finished by saying "AIKA"\, "TID" or "TIME".\n  - The timing is done with an accuracy of one second. However\, no ties will be shared for the top three\, but the rankings will be decided based on the visual interpretation of the head judge.\n  - The duration of the competition is 2 hours.\n  - For each missing piece\, 5 seconds are added to the assembly time. It should be noted that the clock runs until the competitor has announced that they are finished. Pieces found after this are not taken into account.\n  - If more than one connected piece is missing\, this is considered a manufacturing defect and no penalty will be given.\n  - If more than 10 pieces are missing\, the competitor's performance will be rejected\, unless the absence is due to a manufacturing defect.\n  - If the puzzle is not completed within the given time\, the connected pieces will be counted\, and this will determine the competitor's/pair's placement. The calculation will take into account the continuous units of at least 3 pieces.\n- The Assembly\n  - The puzzle may only be removed from its protective bag after the competition has started. Opening the puzzle box and the bag containing it is part of the assembly. Non-sharp tools may be used for this. If the box is sealed with tape\, these have been opened in advance.\n  - If the puzzle box is sealed\, the competitor must inform the judge by raising their hand. The time spent opening the box will be deducted from the performance time.\n  - No pictures or diagrams other than those found in the puzzle box may be used to help assemble the puzzle. In addition\, if the puzzle box contains a full-size picture of the puzzle\, this may not be used as a base for assembly\, only as a model image.\n  - In a team competition\, a maximum of four A2-sized bases are allowed.\n  - The competitor may use a stand that holds the puzzle box lid in a suitable position.\n  - The competitor may not change the height or position of the table\, or use additional lighting. Magnifying glasses are allowed.\n  - The competitor may not disturb other competitors. Headphones may be used\, as long as it does not disturb other competitors.\n  - The judges monitor the competitors' performance. If the judge has not noticed that the puzzle is being completed\, the competitor must indicate this by raising their hand.
